Bows

Welcome!

Bows, bows, and more BOWS!

In September 2010, my husband and I welcomed our daughter, Emerson into the world! That is when I became a stay at home mom. I always enjoyed arts and crafts... drawing, painting, photography, and jewelry making... but with a new daughter, I was missing one thing... BOWS! Emerson was born with a head full of hair, so I decided I wanted to learn how to make small bows and small headbands.

I went to the nearest Hobby Lobby, which out in Northern New Mexico, is 2 hours away in Colorado. I bought several different kinds of ribbon, some alligator clips, and called it a day. When I got home, I couldn't wait to TRY this new idea of mine. I started off with one and then it multiplied to 5 or so in the matter of a couple of hours.

In February, my best friend Hope and her husband, Luke were blessed with the birth of their daughter, Eden, who also has a lot of hair. When Eden was born, I became a bow-maniac. I have been making several different bows for Emerson and Eden. I also have made a bow holder out of wood and  ribbon.

I decided to create this blog to show photos of my bows and to possibly sell them in the future. Bear with me though, because I'm currently the yearbook advisor at Eagle Nest School and had to put bows on hold, to finish up the yearbook! Hopefully, by the beginning of March, I can start working on bows again! If you have any questions or comments, feel free to message me!

Enjoy!
